This site is 1 years old today

Just a quick note to everyone to announce the 1 year birthday of this site. Last February 12, I kicked off this site with the following article:

Carbon Cycle

I must say that I have enjoyed the last year and I continue to think that the discussion on this topic is still very relevant. I plan to continue this discussion and exploration for the foreseeable future.

I didn’t quite make my goal of averaging a new article every day. Instead, I have posted 351 times so I am 14 short. I am happy to report that almost 20,000 people have viewed this site in the last 12 months. I wish I could thank each of you personally but I am afraid that this public announcement must suffice.

The most popular articles have been:

  1. 35 Inconvenient Truths: The errors in Al Goreís movie – Part 1 of 5
  2. Compact fluorescent lamps
  3. Sunday Global Warming Comics
  4. Global Warming Editorial Cartoons
  5. Climate skepticism: The top 10

And the least popular articles were:

  1. Global warming is making us sick
  2. Schwarzenegger urges U.N. to move on climate change
  3. Carmakers Defeated On Emissions Rules
  4. New Times Atlas displays effects of climate change
  5. Uniting to fight warming U.N. chief enlists governorís help in stemming climate change

I am not sure what conclusions to draw from these best and worst lists except that maybe most of you have a sense of humor and you like cartoons!

The easiest way to stay on top of global warming news is simply to subscribe to this site via email or RSS feed. The links are available in the upper right corner of the page.

Thank you for your support and for being concerned about our environment, our world, and the political forces that control it.

Congratualtions on hitting a year! 351 articles is no small feat. And thank you for running this site.

It’s difficult to find sites dedicated to global warming that aren’t pushing one side or the other and you do a great job of finding the articles I don’t have time or search savvy to find myself. You fill an important niche.

I am so thankful for articles that you have shared with us.
I hope you continue to share with us into the future. There is so much to think about with climate change/global warming and your approach is level and clear.
