Also, raise one tax and promise to lower another tax? Pipe dream. But in practice, it ends up being a massive tax on the lower and middle classes, as is the current rising cost of gasoline. Plus I'm wary of more taxes when it's clear our government has trouble managing the money we already give it. Give the U.S. government a dollar, and it will spend two.
